This provided the impetus to freshers and experienced professionals alike, to embrace data science with open arms. In course of time however, job seekers and enthusiasts realized that data science posed its own set of challenges and roadblocks.

Making sense to business and it

The single biggest challenge in a data science job is to have the ability to communicate data to both the business and the It department of an organisation. Both these departments never speak the same language and it is the job of a data scientist to decipher data, find trends, and identify the right problems for both business and It. A data scientist’s day-to-day work revolves around performing data analysis, driving business insights, developing predictive models on massive data, and leveraging machine learning techniques to make sense of disparate data. simply put, a data scientist has to stare at data and spot trends.
