Opposites attract for Meryl, 72, and sculptor Don, 75. Don is a man of few words – I'm the one who keeps up a constant stream of chatter in the house. He listens very patiently, she says. He also loves me as I am: eager and overactive, even at this age. It's no surprise that Meryl calls conversation the key to a successful marriage and also being able to accept that you're not always right.
