Since losing her husband, S Robert Altman, to cancer last year, Lynda Carter has been on a mission. &quot;Her top goal is to keep Robert&#39;s legacy alive and make the world a better place through her philanthropy work,&quot; says a friend. And she&#39;s doing just that. Recently, Lynda was given the John S. McCain Leadership Award for her cancer research advocacy. &quot;I lost my vibrant husband Robert to myelofibrosis [a rare type of bone marrow cancer],&quot; said Lynda, 70, who had been married to the businessman for 37 years. &quot;My hope is that the deadly form of myelofibrosis will one day be curable or survivable.&quot; Along with her philanthropy work, Lynda also finds healing through music. Last October, she released the single &quot;Human and Divine,&quot; a tribute to the love she shared with Robert. &quot;He was so giving and generous,&quot; Lynda said. &quot;He captured my heart.&quot;&quot;I just can&#39;t believe I&#39;ve lost him,&quot; says Lynda of Robert, here with their children, Jessica and James, in 2018. &quot;It still gets me.&quot;
