The 62nd Jio Filmfare Pre-Awards 2017 party was an evening to remember. Rahul Gangwani gives an insider’s report.
High fashion? Check. Glamour? Check. Drama? Check. The 62nd Jio Filmfare Pre-Awards 2017 party had everything you’d expect from a high-profile, high-glam event. The evening saw the biggest names in the business dressed in their best. Host Neha Dhupia set the stage on fire with her wit and mojo, while Manish Malhotra once again proved why he’s a class apart as he showcased his exquisite collection. Adding to the fun were Sophie Choudry, Bulleya singer Amit Mishra and Love you Zindagi songstress Jasleen Royal who crooned away to glory...
RED CARPET RAZZMATAZZ
What’s a red carpet without frenzy and dramarama? The shutterbugs went crazy spotting the crème de la crème of the industry pouting and posing for selfies with each other. The camaraderie and bonhomie outside flowed as freely as the wine inside. Karan Johar walked in like a proud mentor with discoveries Alia Bhatt and hotshot director Shakun Batra. The trio stuck to each other throughout the proceedings.
When Sonam Kapoor arrived, she left onlookers dazzled by her grace and glamour. Karan, who was also at the red carpet, gave Sonam a tight hug. SRK reiterated his super stardom when he walked into a throng of shutterbugs waiting to shoot a glimpse of him. As soon as he flashed his dimpled smile, time stood still. The chivalrous gentleman that he is, SRK even protected actors Sonam Kapoor, Tamannaah and Swara Bhaskar from the paparazzi madness outside.
