Ashish Bisht Makes A Bold Debut With Mentor Onir’s Shab.

Much like his character, Azfar in his debut film Shab, Ashish Bisht hails from a smalltown with big dreams. “Azfar, my character, wants to model while I want to become a successful actor,” he smiles. In pursuit of his dreams Azfar has to compromise on his values and ‘loses his innocence’ says Ashish about his role in the bold film directed by Onir. Azfar comes across a socialite (played by Raveena Tandon), who’s in a loveless marriage and misuses her status to exploit younger men.

Ashish has shot some steamy scenes with Raveena Tandon in Shab. “I’m a huge fan of Raveena. I was nervous about doing the intimate shots. My real nervousness worked for my character,” he claims. “Raveena is full of masti. She kept the atmosphere lighthearted on the set.

I was scared that Onir would scold me if I didn’t do it well. Thankfully, Raveena helped me,” he shares.
