Sunny Leone: 'I Haven't Sold My Soul'

Sunny Leone is one actor, who’s written and then rewritten her destiny.

In 2013, the Canadian-American Sunny announced her retirement from the adult industry and began afresh in Bollywood. Jism 2 and Ragini MMS 2 were some of her earlier films. And while she continued to keep her confidence afloat, keepers of morality didn’t let her forget her ‘past’. Her participation in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss, Aamir Khan expressing his willingness to work with her on Twitter and Shah Rukh Khan roping her in for the remix Laila main Laila number in Raees were moments that made her journey worthwhile. Her sensational life has inspired a web series. Helmed by Aditya Datt, Karenjit Kaur – The Untold Story Of Sunny Leone premiered recently with the second season poised to take off. But all these accomplishments turn pale in comparison to the ecstasy that’s now filled her heart and world. Husband Daniel Weber and she have turned elated parents to three children all at once – Nisha, whom they’ve adopted and twins Noah and Asher, who they’ve had through surrogacy. A hat-trick of happiness this.

TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT THE SECOND SEASON OF KARENJIT KAUR: THE UNTOLD STORY OF SUNNY LEONE.

It’s heart-breaking. It’s about my journey going down the rabbit hole. Daniel and I were in our car on our way to dinner when the team sent him the trailer of the second season. I started crying because it’s sad and brings back a lot of things I don’t wish to feel at all. I guess people will like it.

WAS IT TROUBLING TO VISIT YOUR PAST OR WAS IT THERAPEUTIC?
