Meghan The Next Five Years

She’ll soon be HRH but Meghan’s determined to be more than the title of ‘Harry’s wife’…

Meghan The Next Five Years

In a matter of days (EEK!) Meghan Markle will walk down the aisle of St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle, as she prepares to marry His Royal Highness Prince Harry. But while we wait to see the fine details of the big day (mainly The Dress), attention has started to turn to what will happen after they wed. What will she spend her days doing and will she have a chance to really pursue the causes close to her heart? Because everything is set to change after 19 May. Then there’s the matter of children, which – according to Harry – will hopefully come in ‘the near future’.

When Meghan and Harry are married, it’s expected The Queen will gift her grandson the title Duke of Sussex (as she gifted William the title Duke of Cambridge). Similar to Kate’s, Meghan’s official title is likely to become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex. Over the last few months, the public have been given an insight into what kind of responsibilities Meghan will have in her new role.

We’ve heard the pair are making starting a family a priority. During the couple’s official engagement interview, Harry mentioned that the couple would ‘hopefully’ be extending their family soon. According to an insider, both Meghan, 36, and Harry, 33, can’t wait to have kids.
