“Word is she’s sent Charlize hundreds of angry messages,” a source tells NW of Ange. “She’s really gone off the deep end and can’t stop.”

Yep, pals say the actress is on the warpath in a big way. “She’s always disliked Charlize, and not only because they’re bitter rivals who have competed for numerous roles over the years,” says a family insider. “To Ange, she’s a pathetic wannabe who’s copied her image and thinks she’s way more important and talented than she actually is. Now here she is going after her estranged husband and the father of her six kids – and it’s the final straw.”

According to the source, 43-year-old Ange has been bombarding Charlize directly with nasty texts, warning her in no uncertain terms to back off. “It’s consumed her, to the point where she’s barely sleeping and scheming ways to take her down,” spills a spy. “She may not be the most popular person in Hollywood but Ange’s got a lot of pull in elite LA circles – and she’s putting the word out far and wide that Charlize is a monster who needs to be destroyed.”
