<div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always">SHOCK JOCK Howard Stern calls himself &ldquo;The King of All Media,&rdquo; but the angry folks who work for him said he&rsquo;s the most hated man in broadcasting!<div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always">A long line of staffers has come forward to paint the 66-year-old radio icon as a cheap, petty, vengeful monster who makes Ellen DeGeneres look like Mr. Rogers!&ldquo;The hallway had to be cleared out before he walks down,&rdquo; said John Melendez, a.k.a. &ldquo;Stuttering John,&rdquo; a former on-air crony whose interviews with celebrities such as Gennifer Flowers and the Dalai Lama briefly made him a leading personality.Another comic said he was warned to &ldquo;not look&rdquo; directly at Howard if he wanted airtime.Melendez started as an intern on the show and developed into one of the stars before leaving in 2004, but said he never made more than a paltry $20,000 a year!<div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always">His shocking comments came just days after Howard inked a new five-year deal with Sirius Radio worth upwards of $100 million a year, boosting his net worth above $500 million.Another intern turned on-air personality, Steve Grillo, said that after he got his school credit, he continued to work for the show and never saw a dime!&ldquo;From 1992 until 1997, I was just working for FREE, still as an &lsquo;intern.&rsquo; That&rsquo;s what my title was. But I was definitely a producer,&rdquo; he revealed. &ldquo;That&rsquo;s slave labor. I was a slave. You can&rsquo;t have people work 60 hours a week and not pay them.&rdquo;Scott Salem, a longtime engineer and on-air personality on the show asked if he could put up a GoFundMe page to raise money for his wife&rsquo;s cancer treatments in 2017 &mdash; and was told he could, but only if it did not mention Howard&rsquo;s name or that of the show.Sources said the account raised more than $73,000, but that Howard became furious when he was asked why HE hadn&rsquo;t footed the bill for her medical needs.<div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always">At the time, Stern was pulling down $90 million a year from the show and endorsements!Scott was subsequently banished to another floor and no longer appeared on the air &mdash; and sources said Howard only acknowledged his wife&rsquo;s death in 2018 in a brief email.&ldquo;I couldn&rsquo;t wait to get out of there,&rdquo; said Stuttering John. &ldquo;I didn&rsquo;t want to hear Howard in my head every day &hellip; saying I&rsquo;m worthless, I&rsquo;m not funny. I mean he told me to abort my first child &hellip; because I wasn&rsquo;t fit to be a father &hellip; but this is on the AIR!&rdquo;Comic Artie Lange, a star on the show from 2004 to 2009, had similarly unflattering comments about his former boss. &ldquo;Ask yourself why all of ur ex loyal servants hate u!&rdquo; he tweeted in 2018. &ldquo;Just sad.&rdquo;Howard Stern and Artie Lange did not respond to requests for comment.
