‘I am more confident in my own skin now'

She rose to fame as Coronation Street’s Rosie Webster, first gracing the cobbles at the tender age of nine. But after taking a break from acting to raise her young family, Helen Flanagan tells new she’s ready to dip her toe back in again.

“I’d love to get back into acting properly again when the time comes,” she says, adding, “I really miss Coronation Street.” In fact, Helen reveals that she recently took part in an acting workshop with former Waterloo Road actor Reece Donnelly. “It was the first time I’d left Charlie in the day since he was born,” she explains.

Helen, 31, shares seven-month-old Charlie, as well as daughters Matilda, six, and Delilah, three, with Preston North End footballer Scott Sinclair, 32. The couple, who have been together since Helen was 19, previously revealed plans to marry in Italy. But she tells us she is now tempted by a wedding closer to home. “We’ve been together for so long now that we’re being lazy about wedding planning. But I do want a big wedding,” she laughs.

Here, the TV star opens up on body confidence, future goals and why she wouldn’t rule out a fourth child...

Hi, Helen! Do you have a life mantra?

Don’t expect anything to be perfect. Life isn’t perfect. Focus on the positives and count your blessings. Don’t take anything too seriously and be grateful for what you have and for those who are around you.

Do you try to be a good role model on social media?
