‘Katie will come out a stronger person'

Danielle Lloyd has urged Katie Price to “be strong”, after her close friend was involved in a drink-driving car crash last week – and told new she knows herself what it’s like to be in a dark place.

Pregnant Danielle – who is mum to Archie, 11, Harry, 10, and George, eight, with ex-husband Jamie O’Hara, and Ronnie, three, with husband Michael O’Neill – has admitted she’s turned to drink and drugs in the past.

“It used to numb the pain for me, but it just makes you feel worse in the long run,” she bravely revealed. “It may feel good at the time, but you wake up the next morning and feel like s**t again.”

The former model – who is expecting a girl – has also confessed she had a breakdown last year after the pressures of lockdown got too much for her.

Here, Danielle, 37, opens up to new about overcoming her battles and being there for Katie…

Hi Danielle. What message of support would you like to give to Katie?

Just to be strong. No one is going to think bad of her for what she’s done. You make bad decisions when you aren’t in the right frame of mind. She’s under so much pressure all the time She’s been in the public eye for so long and I don’t think she’s been able to deal with things that have happened in her life properly.

How did you feel when you heard what had happened to her?

I was so shocked. Like her family said, I felt like the worst fears almost came true. The people who know her can see that she’s not her usual self. My first thought was that I hope she’s OK.
