Rochelle Humes has worked hard for years to get to the top of her game, going from pop star to entrepreneur and TV presenter, and she is now enjoying the fruits of her labour.
But life wasn’t always so rosy for the former Saturday's singer.
Speaking on the Showing Up podcast last week, Rochelle, 32, revealed that as a child she lived with her mum, Roz, in a hostel.
And she explained that her tough start in life has been crucial in making her the success she is today.
“When my mum had me, we were living in a hostel and she felt like she won the lottery when she got a council flat, and then she was able to buy the flat from the council,” she said.
“Those stepping stones are what made us. I always had the feeling of wanting more, striving for more.
