Scarlett Moffatt has opened up about her struggles with mental health and the “dark place” she battled through, bravely admitting, “It’s so easy to put on a mask and pretend that everything is great.”
The former Gogglebox star, 30, said she had struggled with anxiety and depression as she adjusted to life in the spotlight after her 2016 I’m A Celebrity win.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, she said, “I remember when I was in a dark place. Those little texts from my friends and family asking if I was OK or sending little memes, they were the reminders it’s worth carrying on because there’s people who love you and really care.
