‘Tom has really helped me during lockdown'

Bobby Cole Norris chats to Laura Anderson about her love life and how she’s been using the weeks at home to achieve her dream bod

Laura Anderson has had a pretty hard time when it comes to matters of the heart. We all felt for her when Wes Nelson dumped her for Megan Barton-Hanson on Love Island – it was brutal! Since then Laura’s had failed romances with Paul Knops and Max Morley, so we were made up for her last week when she appeared to go Insta official with a new man – her PT Tom Brazier. And looking at Tom’s ripped bod, it’s not hard to see why Laura’s smiling. Babe, you’re a lucky girl!

When I chatted to Laura on the blower, love had yet to blossom, but she did mention that Tom, who’s a neighbour, had been a bit of a knight in shining armor – or should that be tight gym shorts? – during lockdown.

“My personal trainer lives in my development and we’ve been doing online sessions. So just knowing he’s a stone’s throw away has really helped me,” she said. “He went and got me some shopping and left it at the door.” What a gent!

She also told me she’s hellbent on getting her best body ever during isolation. “I’m thinking, ‘How can I look absolutely fire when this is all over?’” she said.

The former air hostess has been working out both solo and with Tom at her home in Chiswick, west London, to help pass the time – and she’s even had a makeover. “I’ve taken out all my extensions to give my hair a rest,” she revealed.
