Kylie Minogue 'I'm Never Getting Married'

The star opens up about love, loss and reuniting with Guy Pearce.

Hitting the campaign trail for her Aussie comedy flick Swinging Safari, Kylie Minogue has barely had a moment to take a breath. ‘There’s not been a lot of free time,’ she admits. Even so, she loves being back home. ‘It’s been bliss, you know, fantastic.’

The past year has been bittersweet for the 49-year-old star, who was left heartbroken after ending her engagement to actor Joshua Sasse, 30, last February, prompting her to come clean about her thoughts on marriage. ‘I love a wedding,’ she says. ‘Just don’t make me have one.’ Hinting the split also provided inspiration for her 14th studio album, Kylie confesses, ‘there’s a little bit of heartbreak.’

Her new film has also seen the return of some familiar faces – like Kylie’s old castmate Guy Pearce! Three decades have passed since they worked together on Neighbours and, as Kylie reveals, it was just like old times! Swinging Safari is a step back in time to the ’70s, and Kylie couldn’t be more rapt to have been involved in the throwback experience. ‘It’s just been really, really lovely,’ she shares.
