The Star Lands in Oz to Prepare for Single Mum Life

Absence, it seems, has not made the heart grow fonder for Lara Worthington. After touching down in Sydney on May 4 without her husband Sam or her eldest, two-year-old Rocket, the model – who was accompanied only by her six-month-old baby boy Racer – has admitted that all is far from perfect in her marriage.

‘It’s not butterflies…’ Lara said when asked by radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O if Sam still gives her that special ‘feeling’ when he walks into a room. ‘It’s just different,’ she trailed off. Romance has been replaced, she explains, with a need to prioritise their two tots – and when Sam gets home from work, he gravitates towards the children, not his beautiful wife.

‘Now it’s like, Rocket goes straight to him and it’s more about the children and it’s like, “Here, I’ve been having them all day, here,”’ she quipped.
