Here is some news that is sure to warm the Queen’s heart and brighten up her 2020 – the royal family has announced that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are expecting a baby early next year.
The Princess of York shared the news on her Instagram account with an adorable photo of her and husband Jack holding a pair of baby shoes with the caption, “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021.” Alongside it, the couple posted a portrait of them showing beaming smiles. The happy news was also confirmed on The Royal Family Twitter account, which said the couple “are very pleased”.
The palace added, “The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs. George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter will give birth to their first grandchild and the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh’s ninth great-grandchild.
