He’s had his ups and downs over the last few years, but nothing could wipe the smile off Ant McPartlin’s face as he cheered after marrying new wife AnneMarie Corbett last Saturday – not even the threat of the British rain.
The newlyweds beamed as they left St Michael Church in Heckfield, Hampshire, in the well-timed sunshine, with Ant carrying his blushing bride’s lilac, pink and cream bouquet. The pair then posed for their first photographs as a married couple underneath a vibrant arch of purple hydrangeas and pink roses.
Anne-Marie had arrived at the village church in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan shortly after 1pm to tie the knot with Ant, 45, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Wearing a stunning white one-shouldered dress by Suzanne Neville, which had flower detailing at the top, matched with a simple A-line skirt and veil, the 43-year-old bride was snapped as she prepared to walk down the aisle.
Anne-Marie was joined by her two teenage daughters, who wore lilac bridesmaid’s dresses, and a trio of flower girls, who were wearing white and lilac outfits with flower crowns and being guided by Ali Astall, the wife of Ant’s TV partner Declan Donnelly.
Meanwhile, Dec was on duty himself – standing by his close friend’s side as best man. The pair wore smart black suits with matching bow ties as they waved to photographers before entering the church.
