Mike Tindall gave the nation something to smile about after revealing he and wife Zara are expecting their third child. Shunning the traditional royal announcement, Mike shared the news during his The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast, telling listeners, “It’s been a pretty good week for me. We had a little scan last week – third Tindall on its way.”
Wife Zara, who’s the Queen’s eldest granddaughter, previously revealed that she’d suffered two miscarriages.
“Z is very good, always careful because of things that have happened in the past,” Mike added. “And yeah, really looking forward to it.”
The former rugby ace, 42, who shares daughters Mia, six, and two-year-old Lena with Zara, 39, confessed he’s keen for a boy.
“I would like a boy, but I will love it whether it’s a boy or a girl. But… please be a boy!”
He also joked that they’d be naming the new arrival after coronavirus, saying, “We’re not sure what to do, Covi or Covina.”
