FREEFALL AIRED ON BBC2
Sarah starred in this TV movie as the glamorous girlfriend of a ruthless mortgage salesman (played by Preacher star Dominic Cooper) who scams his old friend during the 2007 financial crisis.
The budding actress explained, “Singing was always my main ambition, but acting was something else I wanted to achieve. Freefall is a complete contrast to what people see of me from being in the band. It’s a gritty role and film.”

ST TRINIAN’S 2 WAS RELEASED
Sarah made a cameo as rebellious schoolgirl Roxy in the St Trinian’s sequel, The Legend Of Fritton’s Gold. She had starred as a school band member in the first film alongside Girls Aloud pals Nadine, Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberley. She also recorded three songs for the film’s soundtrack, including David Bowie’s Boys Keep Swinging.
