The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked more in love than ever as they embarked of their tour of Scotland last week, visiting a number of charities and trusts and even the university where they met 20 years ago, St Andrews.
And fans couldn’t help but wonder whether the duchess may be feeling broody as the mum-of-three showed her maternal side on numerous occasions throughout the week.
At one point, Kate was seen doting over a baby in a pram as the couple greeted the crowds in Pittenweem. She was also pictured cooing over nine-month-old Penelope Stewart as they visited Starbank Park in Edinburgh for a gardening session with charity Fields In Trust.
The baby’s mother, Natalie Randamy, says, “We were just talking about Penny sleeping through. They were reminiscing about nine months being a bit of a game-changer for them. Kate was saying Charlotte has the same dress from Next as Penny but just in a bigger size.”
Speaking exclusively to OK!, royal expert Duncan Larcombe says, “I don’t think Kate and William have ever ruled out the possibility of baby number four. Their children really bring out the best in them and Kate is a natural mother and very doting with children. With Kate, despite her focus on her royal duty, her family still come first. I wouldn’t be surprised if they decided on another baby.”
Meanwhile, royal commentator Katie Nicholl says, “Kate has made no secret that she wanted a fourth baby but William has always been content with three.”
During their 2017 tour of Poland and Germany, Kate reportedly told onlookers, “We’ll just have to have more babies,” when she was overwhelmed by the number of children’s gifts she was given.
