WEDDING BELLE: ‘WE'RE NOT READY TO HAVE KIDS!'

Following a “magical” proposal in Paris last October, Tiffany Watson is busily planning her nuptials to footballer Cameron McGeehan. And clearly still on cloud nine when we catch up with her, Tiffany, 28, is all smiles as she reminisces about the special moment.

“I was not expecting it at all. I always hoped he would propose to me one day, and I knew I wanted to marry him,” she reveals. “I honestly thought he would propose this summer, so I was so surprised. But it was amazing.”

While the timing may have come as a surprise, Tiffany, who has been dating the 26-year-old midfielder for Belgian club Oostende since September 2020, says the way in which her fiancé chose to propose to her wasn’t.

“Everything he did was perfect,” she says. “I love my ring so much. He is very like that, though. He always goes all out. It was in a hotel in Paris, which I’ve always wanted to stay in, and we had a view of the Eiffel Tower. It was magical and everything I wanted.”

Fast-forward six months and preparations for their big day are well underway. Tiffany explains she’s organising the event herself – and so far, so good.

“It’s going OK,” she says.“If you’d asked me a few weeks ago, I would have said I’ve been hating it. But I’m loving it at the moment. I find it really fun.

“It’s ups and downs… I’m really stressed sometimes, but then I change my mind and I say, ‘I can do this!’ I think, hopefully, when it gets nearer to the time, I’ll just be like, ‘It is what it is.’ I won’t really be able to change anything and I’m just going to enjoy it.”
