More than a decade after their passionate fling, Angelina Jolie and Colin Farrell have quietly reconnected

It was a rare sight. On March 11, Angelina Jolie and four of her kids made a surprise appearance at the L.A. premiere of Colin Farrell’s latest film, Dumbo. “Angelina is usually so reserved and stoic on the red carpet, but she was acting almost giddy,” says an insider, adding that the 43-yearold had a smile on her face the entire night. “She was in the best mood, laughing and just enjoying everything. Angelina seemed so happy to be there.”

According to insiders, the flick’s leading man had a lot to do with it. “Angelina was there to support Colin,” a source tells OK!, explaining that the pair — who had a fling while shooting the 2004 period drama Alexander — reconnected two months ago through mutual contacts at Disney and began secretly hooking up shortly after. “Angelina was really into Colin back then and has always considered him the one that got away,” adds the source. “They’re keeping things on the DL for now. But they’re both so excited to give their relationship another go and see what happens.”
