News travels fast in a small village like Risinga. Hot off the rumour mill is that eligible bachelor Thomas (Themba Manganyi) recently returned home for undisclosed reasons and single women are lined up at his doorstep, vying for his heart. Thomas is flattered by the attention, but he isn’t interested in any of the women.
It turns out that Thomas is secretly gay and he has a crush on the out-andproud Mahlatse (Elvis Nkosi). “During their first encounter, Mahlatse’s gaydar rings and he is convinced that Thomas is attracted to him,” explains Elvis, whose character couldn’t be closer to the truth. Being confident and forthright, Mahlatse doesn’t waste time in making his first move. “He suggests that they exchange numbers and Thomas agrees although reluctantly,” adds Elvis. If only Mahlatse knew that Thomas is in the closet and he has no intentions of coming out anytime soon…
