Family secrets, one brother’s actions sending another to hospital, and a mother and son’s lies might just be exposed – but which secret will come out first? Will Jojo Kubeka (Melusi Mbele) confess to his family and finally come clean about his actions? Or will he wait to see if his younger brother Zenzele (Robert Mpisi) will rat him out? Jojo could even be taking Zenzele’s role as the family troublemaker… Melusi is careful not to reveal too much, but he’s adamant that trouble is on the way for the family.
We’re told that Jojo has some suspicions about Zen’s actions and confronts him – and that lands Zen in hospital. Does Jojo regret attacking his brother? He does very much so. He comes close to confessing a number of times but there are other considerations that he has to make. It’s not easy for Jojo.
Jojo is conflicted about confessing that he’s the reason his brother is in hospital. What’s he afraid of? It is a big thing that he put his brother in hospital. He’s not really afraid of being arrested. He’s more afraid that he’ll get backlash from the family and have to answer to them.
Zenzele doesn’t speak about what really happened to him… Zenzele is afraid that other secrets will come out. He and his mother have been using the company vehicles to transport illegal drugs, and in the past, this got Zenzele into trouble with his family, including his mother. But now his mother has joined him to keep the already crumbling family business afloat.
