It’s never a good sign when Faith Zwide (Winnie Ntshaba) calls her ex-boyfriend Isaac (Jeffery Sekele), asking him to meet her at an undisclosed location to discuss “business”, which actually codes for “we’re in trouble”. “This fortnight Faith and Isaac’s murder from two decades ago is on the brink of being exposed and they partner to hide the crime again,” explains Winnie.
Recently, Faith’s stepson Nkosi (Wanda Zuma) has been experiencing recurring nightmares from the evening in which his biological mother and infant sister Zobuhle (not seen onscreen) were killed in a fire 20 years ago. “What Nkosi isn’t aware of is that Faith murdered his mother, and to cover her tracks Faith asked Isaac to set the house alight,” says Winnie. But as it’s revealed that Isaac abducted Zobuhle to rescue her from the fire, renamed her Ona (Nefisa Mkhabela) and raised her. “Now the walls are closing in on Faith and Isaac as Nkosi drops a bombshell that threatens to expose their crime,” adds Winnie.
