Little Big Shots
Season 3 Saturdays (from 3 July) e.tv (*194) 18:00
Get ready for another dose of miraculous kids with remarkable skills and no filter as season 3 of Little Big Shots (2016-now) heads to our screens. Host and executive producer Steve Harvey (host of locally filmed reality gameshow Family Feud South Africa, 2019-now) will be taking the reins again and introducing viewers to talented tweens and kids as young as three years old who’ve got abilities far beyond their years. “The show was built for me, because I know how to talk to kids, because I’ve had kids in my life for 33 years,” says Steve matter-of-factly. The 64-year-old uses his wit and charm to make the kids feel at ease, but he reveals that much of what his guests say to him during their interviews is off the cuff. “You know, they (the producers) try to prepare the kids: ‘Mr Harvey is going to ask you this and you say this.’ I keep trying to tell them you can’t prep an eight-year-old because they will do the exact opposite,” he says.
