When it first opened its gates in 1979, Godstone Farm’s aim was to bring wholesome farmyard fun and adventure to children and their families. Today, its CEO Nicola Henderson is just as committed to making sure that the thousands of people who visit each year have a great day out. “We like to think of Godstone Farm as 40 years young!” she smiles. “The founding family has always focused on creating a place as seen through the eyes of children – filled with wonder and excitement.”
Nicola has been overseeing day-to-day operations at the farm for just over two years and with an almost 20-year career in visitor attractions behind her she knows what it takes to inject the fun factor. On its busiest days the farm can welcome up to two and a half thousand people through its gates, and the site is home to over 500 animals of all shapes and sizes - from tiny bugs and creepy crawlies to its two very own prized Highland cows, Heidi and Hetty.
