SRM University, Sonepat has been identified by the Global Center for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP), Department of Atomic Energy (Govt. of India); as the first centre in Haryana to disseminate knowledge on safe use of nuclear energy inclusive of radio isotopes in medical diagnostics. A seminar on this was inaugurated by the eminent scientist Dr. Ramakumar, Director RC&IG, BARC; and Chairman, Advisory Council GCNEP.
