This Week It's Late, Large-Flowered Clematis

ARE you looking for colour from a climber? If you are, then look no further than late-flowering, large-flowered clematis. I know that’s a bit of a mouthful, but it tells you two of the three things you need to know about these invaluable plants.

Namely: they’re large-flowered, being 4in (10cm) or more across; and they’re late flowering, June or July onwards and often well into autumn. The third thing they have going for them is that they are very easy to prune.
