REMEMBERING&nbsp;Great Apes is the third title in the acclaimed &lsquo;Remembering Wildlife&rsquo; charity book series, and is designed to both raise awareness of the plight facing gorillas, chimpanzees, bonobos and orangutans and to raise money to protect them.&nbsp;Like Remembering Elephants and its successor Remembering Rhinos, Remembering Great Apes is the result of the passion and dedication of wildlife photographer Margot&nbsp;Raggett, with the support of the Born Free Foundation. After a successful&nbsp;Kickstarter&nbsp;campaign, they have raised &pound;126,630 so far. Funds generated by the book will be distributed to great apes projects in Africa and Asia.Remembering Great Apes includes a foreword by Dr Jane Goodall&nbsp;DBE, and features images from some of the world&rsquo;s best wildlife photographers, including&nbsp;Frans&nbsp;Lanting, Art Wolfe,&nbsp;Anup&nbsp;Shah, Jonathan and Angela Scott, David&nbsp;Lloyd&nbsp;and&nbsp;Greg du&nbsp;Toit. In issue 202 we joined with Margot to launch the Remembering Great Apes competition, which presented the opportunity for 10 winning photographers to see their work printed in the book as part of the fantastic line-up. The judges, including our very own editor Ben Brain, were looking for striking and beautiful images that were true to the original scene, with nothing added or taken away.The finalists were eventually whittled down to the 10 winners you see here.
