The CABSAT 2019 is here, promising a plethora of demonstrations pertaining to the arenas of eSports, 5G streaming, 8K cameras, satellite innovations and other outstanding inventions in the broadcast, media, satellite and film industry. Technological enhancements belonging to the end-to-end content lifecycle.- from ideation to production and distribution, will be showcased at the show, in Dubai.
THE ESPORTS PAVILION
Launching this year at CABSAT 2019, the eSports Pavilion will be dedicated to helping broadcasters, advertising agencies, and game developers understand, learn and adapt bite-sized formats. It is an invite-only networking event for technocrats, aimed a simulating a marketplace for businesses.
The section will feature a conference with panels and keynotes indulging in healthy debates, to educate newcomers about insights of how e-sports work. Some of the topics of discussion include, looking at the evolution of e-sports, looking at how nonendemic platforms benefit from e-sports audience, building a sustainable tournament management organisation, broadcasting e-sports events (linear distribution, digital distribution etc,) and overview of the ins and outs of building an e=sports team, amongst many others. The pavilion will instigate networking opportunities and long-lasting relationships.
A few eminent speakers at this year’s lineup include: Edouard Griveaud, VP - eSports, UTURN; Luciano Rahal, club director, Nasr eSports; and Abdulaziz Alshehri, 2015 FIFA Interactive World Champion, eSports influencer and celebrity.
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
This year, CABSAT will host free educational seminars and interactive learning sessions presented by leading professionals over a span of three days. The concepts covered include mobile photography and optimisation for social media, photo editing/ post-production, lighting, workflow, and the perfect stage.
