Dirty clothes are as inevitable as death and taxes. But there are ways to make washday hassle-free – check out these easy tricks
1
Need your clothes to dry in a rush? Toss a dry towel into the tumble dryer (or into the washing machine during the spin cycle) for 15 to 20 minutes. The dry towel helps to absorb moisture from the other items in the machine.
2
Want to wash your delicate underwear separately but too lazy to hand wash them? Grab an old pillowcase, put your small inside and tie an elastic or hair band around the top. This stops the items be coming gnarled and twisted among the rest of the clothes in the washing machine.
3
A good way to minimize shedding from garments made of natural fibers such as wool is to freeze them before wearing them the first time – it makes the fibers more likely to remain fixed in place. Simply place in a Zip lock bag in the freezer and leave for a few hours.
