Actress Letoya Makhene is glowing – she’s pregnant with her fourth child, hopelessly in love and about to release a new album.

Oh, Baby! What A Blessing

SHE places her hand lovingly over her belly, clearly smitten with the burgeoning bump . Glowing, gorgeous and on top of the world – Letoya Makhene looks like a woman who has it all.

We know her as Tshidi, the tough-asnails businesswoman who took over her ex-husband’s empire when he went to jail in Generations: The Legacy. A sophisticated gold-digger with a dark past and a flair for firearms, she enjoys the finer things in life – all bought with her ex’s money, of course!

Yet when we meet the woman behind the character, there are no signs of the sultry siren whose steamy storylines with her lover, Smanga, recently got viewers hot under the collar.

Instead, Letoya greets us with a demure demeanour, her long locks beautifully draped over her bulging belly. In an exclusive interview with DRUM, the 32-year-old actress and seasoned singer reveals she’s pregnant with her fourth child and is now in her third trimester.

“This young soul I’m carrying is a beautiful surprise,” she says, placing a hand over her baby bump. “We spoke of him when we discussed our plans of marriage, children and our future together.”

The baby decided to come earlier than anticipated, says Letoya, who lives with her businessman boyfriend of three years, Tshepo Leeuw.

Although they would’ve preferred to be blessed with a baby after marriage, Tshepo (33) is “ecstatic” about the arrival of his first son.

But it wasn’t love at first sight for the couple who met at Letoya’s cousin’s baby shower three years ago. “He’s best friends with my cousin’s man and we were just two people who were frequently in each other’s space. I never paid much attention to him until I really got to speak to him and realised he’s a dynamic man.”
