It's a different world we are living in right now. Having spent almost two wedding and year-end party seasons in the pandemic, beauty trends have taken quite a turn. While 2020's bridal trends were a little easier, due to a relaxation in COVID-19 rules and regulations, this year, we are amid an anticipated third wave of the virus. With face masks on and social distancing still the norm, here's what make-up artists think 2021 for brides and year-end celebrations will be like. "People had stopped wearing makeup during the pandemic," says Manu Horn, a Paris-based editorial makeup artist. "They are starting again now, and it makes them feel special." However, she says people, especially brides, are now paying attention to makeup formulas, which wasn't the case earlier. "Now they are worried about whether their makeup is long-lasting enough to withstand the face mask," she adds.
