As well as the upgraded feature set, this new stick also ushers in a redesigned Amazon Fire TV interface. This transpires to be a significant refresh for the platform that improves general usability. The core design is broadly similar, but there’s a new search bar with apps set directly within it, as well as refinements like full-colour profile pictures.
Ranged below the Fire TV Stick is a new 'Lite' model (£30). This also handles HDR, but not Dolby Atmos, and its Alexa Voice remote does away with physical keys to adjust volume and power up your TV.
