Artist Adriana Plaza

Who is Adriana Plaza? How did you start your art career? How did you learn and did anyone teach you?

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where I studied and graduated in Advertising and Marketing in 1995. After finishing my college studies, I attended the Instituto per l’Arte e Il Restauro in Florence, Italy where I took several courses in design and painting. I have also taken some workshops on techniques of painting, mixed media, drawing and collage, this after having moved to live in Florida in 2002 in the Museum of Art of Boca Ratón. “The Art School”.

At a very young age my interest in art and painting began, and started to take classes for several years in drawing, mixed media and color techniques with important Venezuelan artists, where I improved and developed my skills in the area. Later, I discovered that the color and essence of nature were the inspiration I needed to develop my own style.

My paintings are a brainstorm of my own inspiration, a new form of liberty.
