Random Fact Tudyk has voiced a supporting character in the last 10 Disney Animation films, going back to King Candy in Wreck-It Ralph.
If you’ve enjoyed a great comedy in the last two decades, more than likely actor Alan Tudyk has at one point been the source of your laughter. He’s appeared, or voiced characters, in more than 60 shows, from Arrested Development to American Dad!. But it wasn’t until his latest gig as an alien among us in Resident Alien that he led his own series for the first time.
The sci-fi comedy sees him playing an alien who crash-landed on Earth before he could obliterate it. He takes the appearance of rural doctor Harry Vanderspeigle so he can blend in, but a few townspeople know his secret. In the second season, he wants to save his human friend Asta (Sara Tomko) from his brethren; they’re likely on their way to complete his mission, so it’s a race against the clock…
With a season as series lead under your belt, did you learn any lessons on pacing yourself for season two?
