Former England international and BT Sport expert Ugo Monye predicts some thrilling quarter-final action

Reigning champions Saracens get the chance to rescue their season on Saturday when they travel to Dublin for an unmissable quarter-final clash against Leinster in the European Rugby Champions Cup (BT Sport 3 HD, kick-off 3pm).

Between them, the sides have won the past four titles – with Sarries emerging victorious in last year’s final in Newcastle. However, the English champions are facing automatic relegation from the Premiership for repeated salary-cap breaches, and will arrive at the Aviva Stadium as underdogs.

POINT TO PROVE

‘A lot has happened to Saracens since last year’s final, and they will be determined to take something positive from this season,’ says former Harlequins star and England international Ugo Monye, who will be covering the quarter-finals for BT Sport. ‘There is so much quality in the two teams, it will be a treat for viewers.’

Sarries clinched their place in the last eight back in January with a dramatic win over Racing 92 in their final Pool 4 match, while Leinster were rampant over in Pool 1, and remained on course for an unprecedented unbeaten season as TV&Satellite Week went to press.
