NEW DRAMA

Hollington Drive

Wednesday, ITV HD, 9 pm

The tight bond between two sisters is fractured and relationships are torn apart when a 10-year-old boy goes missing in ITV’s new four-part thriller Hollington Drive.

Line of Duty’s Anna Maxwell Martin stars as Theresa and Detectorists’ Rachael Stirling is Helen – sisters so close that they and their families live next door to each other in the affluent suburb of Hollington Drive.

From the outside, everything seems perfect in their lives and, as episode one gets underway, the two families are enjoying a barbecue in Theresa’s garden on a balmy summer’s evening.

But tensions start to build when Theresa’s 10-year-old son, Ben, asks to play in the nearby park with Helen’s daughter, Eva. Theresa’s partner, Fraser (Rhashan Stone), is relaxed about them going off, but Theresa has a sense of foreboding.

MYSTERY

When the children don’t return on time, an anxious Theresa goes to find them and sees them on the edge of a wooded area, where they appear to be fighting.
