Over the past 20 years, petrolheads Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond have driven over some pretty challenging terrain on their epic televised road trips. But nothing had prepared them for what they faced in their latest adventure on a trip to Madagascar for a one-off Grand Tour special. On the trail of some pirate treasure, the trio took three modified sports cars to the island off the coast of Africa, where James had prewarned his sceptical colleagues that the roads are truly awful.
