On 9 August 2009, police broke into a flat in Ipswich after concerned neighbors spotted hundreds of flies at the window.
What they discovered was the body of Rosalyn Hunt, a 41-year-old alcoholic who’d been tortured, beaten and had had salt poured into her wounds.
‘She’d been systematically abused,’ says former detective chief Inspector Rick Munns. ‘There were nine separate ribs that had been broken.’
