Take a shot every time the word “beauty” was used. I reckon you’d need that should the phrase “Confessions Of A Beauty Hoarder” resonate with something in you (perhaps a see-no-evil memory of an overflowing pile of lipsticks?), because trust me, I’ll gladly take those shots.
Truth be told, I’ve never quite seen myself as a hoarder. I always justified the bringing home of jumbo tote bags filled to the brim with beauty products — from vitamin C serums to contour powders — by saying it was all because of The Job. It was all so that I could write useful stories! And give sound beauty reviews! It was all so that I could earn that paycheque!
Well, yes. And I guess it all sounded quite logical until I started spending my own money on items that I already have, items that I definitely do not need.
