Azelaic acid is the new beauty ingredient you're probably missing out on
UNSUNG HERO

The world of skincare is always buzzing with new ingredients. Meet the new favourite multipurpose ingredient gaining popularity that has amassed a loyal following - azelaic acid. This ingredient may not be new, but it's trending - and with good reason. A new selection of product launches has brought this underrated star back into the game. So what does azelaic acid do? A lot. It is derived from barley, wheat, and rye and is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness for even the most sensitive skin. It is used extensively to treat acne, rosacea, melasma, and hyperpigmentation. It is also known to help exfoliate the skin by unclogging pores and preventing future breakouts. What more could a girl ask for?

BEAUTY INSIDE OUT

Your beauty and wellbeing go way beyond your face – a holistic approach is vital to making your skin glow
