Take a bite out of Richard Mille’s new, saccharine Bonbon collection.
It may be impossible to bottle up a memory, but Richard Mille has somehow captured all the childhood delights of walking into a candy store with its latest watch collection. Dubbed “Bonbon”, the collection offers 10 unisex, confectionery-inspired designs that will leave you with a sugar rush. These saccharine creations, conceived by Richard Mille Ladies’ Collection Director Cécile Guenat, are variations of three of the luxury Swiss watchmaker’s distinctive models: the RM 07-03, the RM 16-01 and the RM 37-01.
Candy Colours
Just like candy, the watches lure you in with their bright colours. There are 60 in all, ranging from lollipop red and marshmallow pink, to zesty orange and kiwi green. Amongst them is the Quartz TPT® turquoise, a green-blue hue specially developed for the Bonbon collection. While easy on the eyes, the brilliant turquoise is the result of a painstaking, year-long process that attests to Richard Mille’s nonpareil attention to detail.
THE FRUITS COLLECTION
The Bonbon collection is divided into two lines: Fruits and Sweets. The former offers a sextet of designs that each show offa colour-gradient case made of Carbon TPT® combined with Quartz TPT®. It’s on the RM 07-03 Myrtille that the aforementioned turquoise hue shines, highlighting the timepiece’s tonneau-shaped case.
