Many are familiar with Kitty Chicha — a strong and confident woman who shone through her works from Sia Daiy 2020 to her role as Nano in the famous international hit Girl from Nowhere along with her limited hit series The Serpent, which was a BBC x Netflix original. After the rise of her acting career, her modelling career began in France with Saint Laurent, where she collaborated with L’Officiel this month.
“To be honest, I’m actually very shy”, Kitty shares one surprising fact about herself. “With the characters that I play, a lot of people may assume that I’m a confident person, but I’m actually more insecure than you think. I don’t like watching my films — the series that I play or the shoots that I model for are normally looked at once it’s finalised to check here and there but when it’s out in public, I actually don’t like to view them back. It feels weird. I look in the mirror and I’m not sure if I see the same person or not”.
Kitty Chicha joined the entertainment industry at the age of 17 as a member of the girl group, Kiss Me Five under the Kamikaze company. Later on, she also had various performances such as shooting, music videos, and others. Her most acclaimed work to date is her role as Nanno in the series Girl From Nowhere. It’s like a testament to her acting abilities, surpassing her previous performances and gaining widespread recognition.
