We are all bound to feel cabin fever during this lockdown: A series of negative emotions or symptoms as a result of being confined at home for extended periods of time. But for introverts, this is not too far off from their normal routine. Extroverts on the other hand may take this hard. Being forced inside and unable to socialize or experience a connection with others, can really start to wear on the extroverted personality.
So if you are feeling like you are on the verge of losing your sanity, are emotionally exhausted, or crave any form of human interaction, especially if you live alone here are pointers to not go stir-crazy.
1. HAVE A MORNING, NOON, AND EVENING ROUTINE
Creating a daily routine from when to wake up, when to go to bed, and everything in between helps you put your days into perspective.
Your routine can consist of; skincare regimens, the kinds of food to have all through the day, exercise and workout plans, the movies you will watch. If you work from home; the tasks you have to perform.
2. HAVE YOU THOUGHT OF THROWING A FILM FESTIVAL?
Films are a great way to keep feelings of loneliness at bay. If you and your friends love watching movies but social distancing is making it hard, throwing a film festival would work wonders for you. Technology has been made to cater for this exact function. You can have a virtual viewing party, pause the movie, have a discussion, and make it seem like your friends are there.
Netflix has a function called Netflix party, and other sites allow you to create or join a party. You can invite as many friends as you would like, have a meal or drinks together, and catch up on your favorite shows.
3. DO NOT STOP TALKING
