Social distancing has put a lot of strain on relationships. Will yours stay on track after this is over or will it fail to stand the test of time?

Quarantine Kind Of Love

When this pandemic ends, you will either be pregnant, broke, overweight or an alcoholic. Or all four - An overweight, broke, alcoholic who looks pregnant. Jokes aside. These are scary and frustrating times. For many of us, this is the first time we have been confined to the house. And some couples are driving each other crazy. Psychologists have predicted that there will be a spike in divorce rates and breakups after all this. Yet, this is a fantastic opportunity to rediscover and bond with your man.

Here are pointers to ensure your love life outlives the corona pandemic.

COMMUNICATE! COMMUNICATE! COMMUNICATE!

By now you have started to notice some unconventional or peculiar habits of your partner: He sleeps too much. He is addicted to that PlayStation you thought was for the kids. Or he just considers himself a king, expecting you to cater to his every need, while he sits leg up watching the latest season of Money Heist. These discoveries can make you rethink the relationship. Communicate to each other your frustrations, fears and needs.

DON’T LET GO OF PERSONAL HYGIENE

You may mistakenly assume that because you are not leaving the house, taking a daily bath is optional. No one likes being around a stinky person. Or someone who is unkempt. Take a bath. Wear clean clothes. Fix your hair as best you can. Spray on some perfume. Look presentable. You shall be easier to live with.
