How did your journey as a professional started? How it shifted from managing the firms to heading the Aerospace and Defense sectors of Telangana state government?
After graduating from IIM Ahmedabad, I started off my career in the strategy division of the NCDEX, a leading multi-commodity exchange during its initial years. I was the project lead for its logistics and warehousing subsidiary- NCML and served as its Business head. Later I set up the commodity finance desk for IL&FS and moved on as the head the NBFCs of IL&FS Investsmart, HSBC, EFL and Inditrade capital. As the COO of EFL, a lending firm specialized in MSME machinery finance; I gained extensive insights into precision engineering industry and industrial supply chains across the country.
When Telangana was formed as a new State, I was fortunate to have been one of the few private sector professionals to be laterally hired as a Director into the Government to lead sector policies, infrastructure creation and investment promotion. I have been heading Aerospace and Defence sector for the last four years and am given the additional charge of Banking Financial Services and Insurance since last year. It has been a great privilege to work in the core team of Hon’ble Minister Shri K T Rama Rao and Principal Secretary Industries and IT, Shri Jayesh Ranjan IAS. I am glad to witness the unprecedented growth of Aerospace and Defence sector in Telangana during my term in the last 5 years.
Government of Telangana has won the award of the State with most dedicated outlook for aerospace industry during Wings India 2020. What factors contributed to this achievement and the sector`s growth in the state?

Future Cultural Challenges for Airlines And Airports
Introduction Assuming we are all alike is one of the greatest mistakes we human beings are making all the time. So when people do things differently e.g. how people queue up or what we ascribe status to we try to educate them to do or see it our way. This is usually not well received and a conflict starts.
