IS there a better root crop than the humble beetroot? I don't think there is they are simple to sow and grow and delicious.

Whether you like yours traditionally pickled and sliced with your roast beef, whizzed up into a smoothie, or roasted and added to a summer salad, they are a versatile ingredient.

This week's free seeds are for a variety called 'Moulin Rouge', a generous cropper that can be harvested as sweet 'baby beets' or left in the soil longer to mature into larger spheres.
